logitech g230 mic not working on windows 10

There are some buttons attached to my headset, which to be honest I don't know what they do, but I played around with them to see if I triggered something, but no luck there.

The only sound that registers is a brief sound when I mute my mic by putting it upwards and back down. Any sort of sound menu on my computer, it says that the mic is working normally with no errors, and yet I can't get it to work. I even tested the mic on my webcam that's really old, and that still works. Disabling and enabling device doesn't work. If I put my mic upwards to mute it, I do hear the mute sound effect through the headset and the red light appears, indicating that it's muted, and if I put the mic back down, I hear the sound effect again and the red light goes away, which is perfectly normal. It's not some Windows 10 issue about privacy, because I checked there and my privacy is fine (allows mic to be used on applications), and when I check the levels of my mic on Sounds, it's at 100 (NOT muted), and the weird thing is I've plugged in my headset onto another computer and the mic STILL doesn't work, so it's not my computer acting freaky.

Started to worry when I tried finding solutions online but my problem seems completely different from everyone else. Yesterday wanted to talk to someone on Discord when I realized my mic wasn't working. This just happened to me all of a sudden.
